With a formal education and passion for dance, I enjoyed performing various styles of dance world wide.  From modern, West African, Bharata Natyam, hip hop and jazz, dance was a primary means of self expression and offered me the opportunity to share a language that we use less often in our culture.

While dancing, I took a part time job at an apothecary in Los Angeles which served my love for fragrance and essential oils. I took a basic course to begin my studies as an Aromatherapist but put it on halt when I became pregnant and lost my keen sense of smell.

During my pregnancy, I continued to dance on tour, and in 2008 I gave birth at home to an amazing little girl! As a new parent, I stayed closer to home and primarily taught dance while learning to balance motherhood.   I also became a lucky and a blessed Mrs. that year when I married my soul mate with our toes in the sand.

Giving birth to my second child in 2010 also at home, led me to a full time job to help support our household.  This came as an administrative job at a large practice of midwives where I learned so much about women’s options for birth.  This served my long passion for natural living and addressing the whole person,  not just one's symptoms.

Without knowing it at the time, this work served as a sense of identity for me.  Having an administrative position after the birth of my children was a challenge because I struggled with remembering who I 'used' to be.  I strove to find myself within my new roles of wife and mother.  For some this comes easily.  For me, it was a long journey which revealed to me that I was not alone in my feelings and search for my new self.

Many women post-baby experience similar feelings.  This 'mystery', this 'unspoken', created a new desire and drive within me to help other women reveal to them more quickly what I had been looking to define.  My journey has included healing myself of diastasis recti, low back pain, incontinence, low libido, short menstrual cycles, PMS, as well as a stronger spiritual connection to my new body and new self.

Being of service to others, I emphasize empowerment and education on women’s rights and voices through movement, vaginal steaming, mentorship/coaching, birth + postpartum doula work, and spirituality.  I am committed to helping women transform into their fullest and best expression!
